Wilder, Kentucky, Dec. 16, 2024 – Matt Webber has been hired as Vice President of Sales at EDGE Industrial Technologies (EDGE), a leading global producer of industrial machine knives and blades, punches, and related equipment. In this role, Webber will oversee global sales activities and teams across all EDGE brands – TGW International, Pearl Technologies Inc., and Leverwood Knife Works. 
“Matt is a proven commercial leader, business operator, and people leader – all skills that will help our company grow, as well as enhance our products and customer service,” said Josh Slagle, CEO, EDGE. “He’ll be a critical facet to our internal and external sales activities, as well as helping us achieve our short- and long-term goals. I’m confident his skills and experience will enhance our customer-centric approach to serving customers with excellence.”
Webber brings 16 years of business-to-business sales experience, including overseeing P&L verticals for national big box retailers, eCommerce channels, dealers, and distributors to EDGE. Prior to joining the company, he was Senior Vice President of Sales at Alto-Shaam, a commercial kitchen equipment supplier. Previously, Webber held sales leadership roles at Alliance Laundry Systems and Electrolux.
Webber earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration and Management degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife and two children.
